‘Cedar with Brick - Richmond, VA’ is a hand-pressed tree ring ink impression made from the end grain of a downed Cedar tree in Richmond, VA and features a section of brick that the tree grew around when living. Each print in this edition is a hand-pulled ink rubbing printed on archival Japanese Masa paper using traditional block printing methods and are each considered original works of art, not digital reproductions. Due to the nature of printmaking by hand, slight variations or nuances may exist from one print to another. This is to be expected and demonstrates the true nature printmaking and of an original handmade artwork.

Printed using black Cranfield Safe Wash ink on white Japanese Masa archival printmaking paper 

Each print is individually signed and dated by the artist
